AFRICANA STUDIES STUDENT ASSOCIATION

The Africana Studies Student Association (ASSA) provides and increases opportunities for mutually beneficial association, interaction and support between the ASSA, the Africana Studies faculty and the Department of Africana Studies. We provide and promote opportunities for association and interaction with the students, faculty, administration of CSULB, and the community

BLACK CAMPUS MINSITRIES

​​In keeping with InterVarsity's purpose, Black Campus Ministries (BCM) is committed to reaching black students and faculty on our campus, ministering to the unique needs of the community and laboring to develop extraordinary Black Christian leaders and world changers. Through our growing friendship, evangelistic efforts, involvement in global and urban missions, and through our pursuit of God in our fields of study and research, we hope to see the name of Christ spread and exalted in our people who will become the next leaders of our communities and beyond.

Queen II Queen
​

An organization that promotes the voice of the Black woman, unity, leadership building and activism within the Black Queen community on campus. We aim to repair, restore, and strengthen interpersonal relationships between black women (and interpersonal relationships between black women and other groups).

KING II KING

Serves as a union for all African/Black men at California State University, Long Beach. In addition to empowerment, we are committed to developing our social relationships, promoting cultural consciousness, inspiring academic success, and building with young men in the community.

NATIONAL SOCIETY OF BLACK ENGINEERS

The National Society of Black Engineers is one of the largest student-led organizations in the country, with more than 30,000 members worldwide. NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers that excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. ​
